This body of work was created at a man-made lake in Devon — a place shaped by one man’s vision and now held in his memory. Living with Parkinson’s, he built the lake as a labour of love and refuge. After taking his own life, his ashes were scattered in its waters, and the lake continues to hold his presence in every ripple and reflection. These images are not just landscapes — they are dreamscapes: quiet meditations on legacy, loss, and the fragile beauty we leave behind. Photographed in soft light and silence, the lake becomes a mirror — of grief, of peace, of creation in the face of pain. This work is a tribute — to him, to the land, and to those who turn struggle into something lasting.
